Imagine - a school literacy magazine

Storyquest worked with Dixon Grove Junior Middle School to produce a school-wide literacy magazine. For several months we ran a lunchtime club open to all students at the school from K-8.

We had a dedicated team of grade 8 mentors who assisted students who wanted to write stories, prose poems or create art work to submit to the magazine.

We were proud to launch the first issue of the Imagine Magazine in June 2014. Please take a look and read our student's creative work and enjoy their artwork!

Thank you for showing me how to write more and use detail. Also for showing me how to be creative. It was so fun working with you.

Story Quest's impact on student writing has positively changed their attitudes. Students once saw writing as a task and now see it as an opportunity for their voices to be heard. I would highly recommend Charlotte to be a part of a class writing process!

I feel that writing now is fun and is very creative and now I like it better than before.
